About BowlRadar

Youth bowling schedules are scattered across association Word documents, Facebook posts, tour websites, and entry platforms. A family deciding whether a tournament is worth a Saturday drive should not have to check six places. BowlRadar puts them in one list you can filter by date and by distance.

Where the data comes from

Four ways in, in rough order of how much we trust them:

  1. Published association schedules. Entered from the schedule the association itself distributes, which is the most reliable source there is.
  2. Submissions from organizers. Anyone can add an event. A moderator reviews each one before it appears.
  3. Automated feeds. Calendar feeds and structured data from tours and entry platforms, re-checked on a schedule. Imports are reviewed before publication rather than going straight live.
  4. Pasted schedules. Facebook posts and Word documents are pasted in and parsed. Facebook cannot be read automatically — its terms forbid it and its content sits behind a login — so a human does that step.

Feeds currently enabled: Beast of the East Tour, Elite Youth Tour, Junior Bowlers Tour, PBA Jr. tournament schedule, Storm Youth Championships, Tough Shots Tour, TournamentBowl.com — Mid-Atlantic, Wyoming Junior Bowlers Tour, Youth Scratch Master's Tour.

Why some events say TBD

Associations publish a season schedule months ahead, often before every host center is booked. BowlRadar keeps those entries and labels them Center TBD or Date pending rather than hiding them, because knowing a tournament exists is useful even before the venue is settled. Those events cannot appear in distance search until a center is assigned.

Always confirm entry details with the tournament director before travelling. BowlRadar is a directory, not an entry service.

Use this data elsewhere

Every search is available as JSON and as a calendar feed, so an association can embed its own events on its own site:
